O Primeiro Rock

Há muitas controvérsias sobre qual seria o primeiro rock gravado no mundo. Mas, para muitos, a era do Rock'n'Roll começou no dia 5 de julho de 1955, quando a música Rock Around The Clock, composta por Max Freedman e James Myers e gravada em 12 de abril de 1954 por Bill Haley and the Comets - chegou ao topo das paradas americanas.

A lista a seguir é do livro: What Was The First Rock'n'Roll Record? de Jim Dawson & Steve Propes, publicado pela Faber & Faber em 1992, e apresenta os possíveis candidatos a primeiro rock gravado:

A lenda mais crível pra mim ainda é Rock 88. Ou não?
